Francesco Scognamiglio

Scognamiglio focuseson the extreme refinement of fabrics and shapes. The collection is inspired by the Versailles Opera: the complex architectural shapes translate into highly sophisticated outfits. The use of sheer fabrics evoke an elegant and subdued sensuality.
Very short mini skirts, little dresses, ankle-length or long pants and long dresses is key garments in this collection. The colors used is: black, electric purple, animal prints, gold, powder in fabrics like chiffon, charmeuse, lace, latex with embroidered pearls and organza.

This collection is absolutely one of my favourites.
I love the silhuetts, the lace details, the fabrics and the fabric manipulations like the ruffelig and the lace thats been sewn onto another fabric.
The looks has a great feeling of wonder and romance to them and they do really stand out as well as being wearable.
